Sustainability is no longer a trend; it is embedded in modern design. According to SaveMoneyCutCarbon.com, 66% of the population want to know how to implement greener design choices in the home, that will not only look stylish, but will save them money in the long-term.
The housing market has also undergone a seismic shift since the pandemic, with a rise in passive housing (a construction concept that is energy efficient, affordable and ecological), and eco-friendly kit houses and flat-pack cabins highlighting the demand to achieve a responsible home that also caters for the homeowner’s bespoke lifestyle. However, the most common sustainable interiors that we see in the press are very beige and neutral, which does not reflect everyone’s taste.
