The San Miguel is the same classic crown shape as the Baja Norte and is made with the same high quality palm material but the woven ribbons are sewn together much more finely.
It is a hand woven and sewn palm leaf hat made by a group of artisans in Mexico. The San Miguel Dark is Pressed for slightly longer than the light to give it the toasted color. It is made with an elastic sweatband for a light and comfortable fit.
Palm leaf is a very durable material that can take a beating and holds up against water, either salt or fresh. It is also shapeable with water or steam.
